DeHeng Law Offices (Hong Kong) LLP advised the managers and the trustee on Haitian (BVI) International Investment Development Limited (the “Issuer”) on its issuance of U.S.$150,000,000 6.1 per cent. bonds due 2027 with the benefit of a keepwell deed provided by Qingdao Conson Development (Group) Co., Ltd.(青岛国信发展(集团)有限责任公司) (the “Company”) (the Issuer, the Company or any of its subsidiaries together the “Group”), and listed on the Chongwa (Macao) Financial Asset Exchange Co., Ltd. on 22 July 2024 (Stock code: MOXTB24157E).
The Group is a large state-owned conglomerate based in Qingdao that focuses on urban construction and provision of urban services, with significant experience in integrated finance. It is controlled by Qingdao SASAC (青岛市人民政府国有资产监督管理委员会). The Company, since its incorporation in 2008, has played an important role in the overall development of Qingdao and the Group’s growth plans are closely and strategically aligned with the city’s blueprint. This has yielded distinct results for the Group, as illustrated by its position as a large state-owned conglomerate in Qingdao for financial services and hospitality and tourism. In Qingdao, the Group holds a dominant position in terms of tunnel infrastructure development, and is also committed to the investment, construction and management of municipal infrastructure and real estate developments. After more than a decade of operation, the Group has gained extensive experience and expertise in the industries in which it operates.
