DeHeng is one of the few law firms in China having an integrated antitrust/ competition team consisting of experienced Chinese and Western practitioners, coordinating between the firm's Beijing and Brussels office. The DeHeng antitrust team has been involved some of the highest profile antitrust litigation, to date, in China. The team has a wide cross-sectoral expertise, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, retail, shipping, internet and automotive. Since the Antitrust Law entered into force in 2008, DeHeng has represented Chinese and foreign clients with regard to antitrust litigation, merger control filings, investigations and antitrust compliance programs.
Our experiences include merger control declaration of OCI' s acquisition of Tokuyama Malaysia, the merger between Holcim with Lafarge, the acquisition of Hazemag by Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd.; Huawei vs. InterDigital regarding abuse of market dominance, Sina vs. Mai Mai (software) regarding unfair competition, and Qihoo 360 vs. Tencent regarding abuse of market dominance.
