DeHeng’s Dubai Office Assisted a Client in Completing Document Legalization as per the Apostille Convention for the First Time

On November 16, 2023, DeHeng’s Dubai Office assisted a client in completing the first legalization of cross-border legal documents in accordance with the Apostille Convention in an overseas enforcement of an international arbitral award.

On November 7, 2023, the Apostille Convention officially entered into force in China. The main purpose of the Convention is to simplify the procedures for the cross-border circulation of public documents and facilitate international economic and trade and personnel exchanges. On the same day, DeHeng’s Dubai Office launched the legalization process in Beijing, and completed it for the legal document in 11 days.
