DeHeng Advised on the Listing of China’s First “Government-Exchange Direct Connect” Public Data Product on the Shenzhen Data Exchange

Based on the cooperation between Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai City and Shenzhen Data Exchange in the compliance review and listing of data products, and public-data asset valuation, China’s first “government-exchange direct connect” public data product was launched on the exchange on June 1, 2023, marking the first attempt in the country for exploring cross-regional data integration and application and market-oriented circulation of public data.

The DeHeng team, with primary support from partner Chen Jian and lawyer Peng Xingyuan of DeHeng Law Offices (Macao Hengqin), was mandated to provide special legal counsel services for the above-mentioned data product transactions, and issue legal opinions based on the basic situation of the data product listed this time, regarding its source, purpose and use.
