DeHeng Advised Lange Medtech on Its Acquisition of ASAP, a German Medical Device Company

Recently Lange Medtech completed the acquisition of ASAP, a medical device company headquartered in Freiburg, Germany, with whole-process legal services from DeHeng.

In this deal, DeHeng acted as the PRC legal counsel of Lange Medtech and assisted the client in hiring German legal counsel Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, German audit consultant Ebner Stolz and other service providers to jointly assist Lange Medtech in completing the acquisition of ASAP.

The target company ASAP is known for developing, manufacturing and selling world-leading medical endoscopy products. Lange Medtech is a leading medical technology group company in China, and its acquisition of ASAP is an important part of its global expansion.

As the chief coordinator of the Sino-German consulting team, the DeHeng team, with primary support from Shanghai Office's partners Ma Jun and Du Peitong, provided a full range of services for the deal, including due diligence, negotiation of acquisition agreements, and obtaining government approvals in China and Germany.
