Chungs Lawyers, the associated firm of DeHeng Law Offices in Hong Kong, advised Sichuan Gloport Investment Development Group Co., Ltd (四川港荣投资发展集团有限公司) (the “Issuer”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) on its issuance of RMB1,640,000,000 4.20% credit enhanced bonds due 2025 in Shanghai Free-Trade Zone supported by an irrevocable standby letter of credit provided by Bank of Shanghai Co., Ltd., Chengdu Branch and listed on the Chongwa (Macao) Financial Asset Exchange Co., Ltd. (the “MOX”).
Established in 2004, the Group is the main investment, financing and operating entity for municipal development in Yibin Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The Group has been focusing on municipal development in Yibin City, in particular Yibin Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone, by undertaking a large number of strategically important municipal development projects, its businesses include primary land development, municipal construction, energy sales, real estate development, engineering construction and advertising services. Leveraging the thriving development of Yibin Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone and Yibin in recent years, strong shareholder support and its diversified business portfolio, the Group has benefited and will continue to benefit from the many opportunities presented by the rapid development of Yibin Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Yibin City.
Listing of the bonds on the MOX (Stock code: MOXLB2271) commenced on 21 December 2022.
