Mr. Chen joined DeHeng in 2021 as a cross-border dispute resolution partner and became Global Partner of DeHeng in 2026. Mr. Chen focus on high-tech and complex commercial litigation and arbitration for a number of prestigious Chinese or multinational corporate clients for more than 15 years in commercial contract dispute, product liability and intellectual property (patent) disputes, corporate compliance, cross-border bankruptcy, global product recall and other international dispute resolution areas.
The technology areas he had practiced include but not limited to: New energy vehicles, commercial and passenger vehicle power batteries, human pharmaceuticals, pesticides, photovoltaic modules, civilian drones, consumer battery products, etc.
Mr. Chen is listed by Legal500 in its Asia Pacific List for the area of Dispute Resolution: Litigation in 2025. Mr. Chen is also listed by LegalOne as One of the Most Highly Recommended 15 Cross-Border Dispute Resolution Lawyers of China in 2025 (LegalOne Blue Ribbon 2025).

- Successfully helped a Chinese and U.S. company won China-U.S. global patent disputes and reached global settlement with its major market competitor in 2026.
- Successfully helped a famous Chinese entrepreneur to fight and eventually reached a global settlement, successfully defended huge-assets related to assets in mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and California, U.S. in 2026.
- Successfully helped a prestigious green energy company won Motion to Quash and therefore no need to continue stay in a high-profile catastrophic dispute, a billions of USD mass tort action in California State Court in 2025.
- Successfully represented a prestigious Chinese commercial bank in protecting and enforcing its pledge right upon oil and gas realty assets in Canada through Receivership Proceeding for a loan with millions of USD value in 2025.
- Successfully helped a prestigious Chinese entrepreneur of a NASDAQ listed company won Dismiss With Prejudice in a complicated equity share dispute in federal court in New York in 2024.
- Successfully served and represented Team Canada (Canadian Olympic Committee and Paralympic Committee) in Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
