Dobie was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 2013. She graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) in 2010 and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) in 2011. She is proficient in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
Dobie advises on general dispute resolution matters and specializes in commercial, insolvency and banking litigation. She also had experience working at the Official Receiver's Office as prosecutor in respect of bankruptcy and winding-up related offences.

- Acting for Hong Kong listed companies in handling listing compliance matters including applications for resumption of trading of shares on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, investigations by the Securities and Futures Commission, Financial Reporting Counsel etc.
- Acting for the liquidators of a Hong Kong listed company in a professional negligence claim against an international audit firm being the former auditor of the company in liquidation.
- Acting for an international audit firm in defending professional negligence claim.
- Representing leading financial institutions in debt recovery actions, mortgage actions, enforcement proceedings and other banking litigations.
- Acting for a Hong Kong listed company in an arbitration relating to disputes arising out of a deed of subscription of the shares in the listed company.
- Representing a leading financial institution in investigation by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance (Cap. 615).
