IP Case Handled by DeHeng Wuxi Lawyer Selected for the Summary of the Annual Report on Legal Application Issues from IP Cases (2024)

On April 21, 2025, to mark the upcoming 25th World Intellectual Property Day, the Supreme People’s Court released the “Summary of the Annual Report on Legal Application Issues from Intellectual Property Cases by the Supreme People’s Court (2024),” which included 43 cases related to legal application. An integrated circuit layout design infringement case handled by partner Zhou Xiaodong from DeHeng’s Wuxi Office was selected. The case involved the legal application issue of “determination of the subject of layout design protection and commercial utilization,” and its handling has important guiding significance for the trial of future integrated circuit layout design cases.
