Recently, DeHeng’s Wuxi Office represented a civil litigation case involving the protection of integrated circuit layout design rights and obtained a preservation review ruling, which is the first supportive ruling by the Supreme Court’s Intellectual Property Tribunal on stopping the alleged infringing behavior.
Facing challenges in intellectual property cases such as difficult evidence collection, long duration, and high risks, to avoid the awkward situation where clients “win the lawsuit but lose the market” during the long-term litigation process, DeHeng lawyers conducted multiple rounds of evidence collection through various means, including applying for court investigation orders. After obtaining the evidence, they promptly applied to the court for behavioral preservation during the lawsuit. Before the final effective judgment was made, the infringer was demanded to stop all infringing behaviors, including manufacturing and sales. This effectively prevented the continuous expansion of the client’s losses and promptly prevented irreparable damage from occurring.
