DeHeng Mandated by Baowu Carbon Technology Co., Ltd. to Advise on Its Compliance Management System Building and Certification Project

Recently, DeHeng was mandated as the compliance management system building and certification consultant for Baowu Carbon Technology Co., Ltd., to advise on compliance system certification in corporate governance, environmental protection, and occupational health and safety. The DeHeng team is led by lawyers Li Xiaoxin, Wang Yuzhuo, and Cai Dan, with support from Wang Xiaoli, Zhao Miyue, Gao Doudou, Luo Jing, Wang Yang, and Wang Qingtong.

DeHeng assisted Baowu Carbon in holding the project kick-off meeting on October 30, 2024. Attendees included company executives, heads of functional departments, Baoshan Base, and the Meishan subsidiary. Lawyer Cai Dan delivered a themed lecture on compliance concepts, explaining the idea and value of compliance as well as the relevant requirements stipulated in the Administrative Measures for Central Enterprise Compliance Management and the revised Company Law. Lawyer Zhao Miyue introduced the project goals, work plan and expected outcomes, and put forth suggestions on support from the company. Vice president and chief compliance officer of Baowu Carbon then shared thoughts on how the project should be carried out.
