DeHeng Law Offices (Chongqing) Secured Victory in Cross-Border Litigation, Helping Client Avoid 6.45 Million Euro Claim

Recently, DeHeng Law Offices (Chongqing) successfully represented a Chongqing factory in a product quality dispute lawsuit filed by an Italian company, securing a victory for the client and protecting the seller’s lawful rights in cross-border litigation.

After the client confirmed the mandate in December 2020, the DeHeng team, led by lawyer Chen Xiaoping and Italian lawyer Vincenzo R. Palmisano, developed a litigation strategy based on a thorough analysis of relevant materials. 

After persistent efforts, DeHeng’s lawyers secured a first-instance victory in January 2023, with the court dismissing the plaintiff’s claims. The Italian company appealed to the Turin Court, and the Sino-Italian legal team continued to actively defend the case through thorough research and well-prepared responses. In June 2024, the team achieved a second-instance victory, with the client being held free from any liability for compensation. As of September 2024, the Italian company did not appeal to the Italian Supreme Court, marking the final and complete victory for our client.
