DeHeng Assisted Rui Ji Tang in Completing Restructuring Investment in Aoxing Group Pharmaceutical

On February 14, 2020, the Shijiazhuang Intermediate People’s Court accepted the bankruptcy and restructuring case of Hebei Aoxing Group Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.  DeHeng’s Shanghai Office was appointed as the legal advisor to Hebei Rui Ji Tang Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd., the industrial restructuring investor, for its investment in Aoxing Group Pharmaceutical.

Aoxing Group Pharmaceutical, a long-established pharmaceutical company, had complex debt relationships. The DeHeng team, led by partner Xu Dong, with support from lawyer Liu Zhenyi and paralegal Liu Luting, collaborated with local law firms to assist Rui Ji Tang in becoming the restructuring investor. The approval of the restructuring plan helps stabilize local employment and gives Aoxing Group Pharmaceutical a new lease on life. This restructuring was impactful in Shijiazhuang, known as the “Northern Medicine Capital” of China.
