Silicon Valley Office Won Another Class Action Lawsuit in the U.S. for EB-5 Immigrant Investors

In January 2020, DeHeng Law Offices Silicon Valley launched a class action lawsuit in the Federal District Court of Florida on behalf of dozens of EB-5 investors seeking the return of EB-5 investment funds from U.S. project parties. On August 3, 2023, the federal judge presiding over the case issued a judgment that formally approved the settlement agreement reached between the parties regarding the class action lawsuit. The settlement, with a compensation ratio of 67%, is a rare victory for EB-5 investors from Chinese mainland in a U.S. court. It shows that the U.S. class action system is the most effective means for EB-5 investors to protect their lawful rights. DeHeng’s Silicon Valley Office has extensive litigation experience in this field and has been working in the EB-5 business area for more than a decade, and is one of the few U.S. law firms that can effectively defend the lawful rights of EB-5 investors.
