DeHeng Successfully Represented Fangchebao in a Series of Labor Dispute Arbitration Cases

On March 15, 2022, DeHeng received the arbitration award on the labor dispute between the plaintiff surnamed Zhang and Fangchebao Group Co., Ltd. from Shenzhen Labor Dispute Arbitration Commission. It marked the end of all the 44 labor dispute arbitration cases involving Fangchebao, represented by DeHeng. 

Fangchebao is a subsidiary of Evergrande Group, mainly engaged in real estate sales. In 2021, Fangchebao encountered great difficulties in operation due to policy control, the COVID-19 epidemic and the debt crisis of Evergrande Group. Many employees applied for labor arbitration. Some wanted to rescind the contract and demand economic compensation; some demanded the payment of bonuses, allowances and subsidies; and some wanted the company contribution to the statutory five insurances and housing fund. These cases involved 552 employees who demanded a compensation of RMB 32,890,540.00 in total, RMB 908,309.00 of which was supported in the arbitration award. The company won 97% of the cases and saved a loss of RMB 31,982,231.00.
