DeHeng Advised China Life Investment on the Approval
of the Infrastructure Debt Investment Scheme
for Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway

On December 25, 2018, the China Life Investment – Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway Debt Investment Scheme, set up by trustee China Life Investment Holding Company Limited, obtained the letter of notice for registration of infrastructure projects from the Insurance Asset Management Association of China (IAMAC).
The expressway network is an integral part of China's high-quality express transport network and vital for the development of integrated transport system in the 13th Five-Year Development Plan period. Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway runs through the heart of the Pearl River Delta, is key part of the Pearl River Delta ring expressway and of the advanced Guandong-Hong Kong-Macao transport network, and easily connects Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen. It is the second expressway between Guangzhou and Shenzhen after the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway. In addition to other expressways already open to traffic such as Guangzhou-Huizhou Expressway, Zengcheng-Dongguan Expressway, and Meilin-Guanlan Expressway, it is a trunk road connecting major cities in the Pearl River Delta, contributing greatly to the integrated development of the region.
