Recently, China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) held the "Top 10 Outstanding Lawyers in Criminal Defense" event at its Haidian Campus. Fan Chongyi, First-Class Professor, Doctoral Supervisor of CUPL and Honorary Dean of the National Legal Aid Research Institute of CUPL; Chen Guoqing, Member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Deputy Director of the Social and Legal Affairs Committee, and Second-Class Senior Prosecutor; Wang Xiaodong, Former Chief Judge of the Second Criminal Division of the Supreme People's Court, First-Class Senior Judge, and Vice President of the Chinese Criminal Procedure Law Research Association; and Professor Wei Yuening, Director of the Criminal Procedure Law Research Institute of CUPL, attended the award ceremony and delivered speeches.
