On December 12, 2020, the third "The Belt and Road Initiative" Award Ceremony of Excellent Legal Services and "The Belt and Road" Legal Services Forum held by the Legal Daily in Beijing. It is aimed to show the important role of legal services in the construction of the "Belt and Road" to the whole society, and to summarize and promote the successful experience of "Belt and Road" legal services.
A suitcase represented by Mr. Jia Huaiyuan, a partner of DeHeng Law Offices and director of the Dubai office, won "the Belt and Road Initiative" Outstanding Legal Practices award. For the case, Mr. Jia Huaiyuan and Mr. Hussain Al Bannai represented the Dubai subsidiary of a Chinese state-owned enterprise in appealing against the Iranian AMK company in the Court of Appeal in Dubai, UAE.
