On January 16, 2020, The Legal 500, published its 2020 Asia-Pacific guide, which recognizes DeHeng as one of the top full-service law firms in China, and highly recommends DeHeng in 12  practice areas. Two DeHeng lawyers are singled out for excellence in the field, named among "Leading Individuals" and "Next Generation Lawyers".

DeHeng  was recommended in the 2020 guide in 12 practice areas, including antitrust and competition, banking and finance, capital markets, corporate and M&A, dispute resolution, intellectual property (contentious), intellectual property (non-contentious), labor and employment, private equity, restructuring and insolvency, shipping, and WTO/international trade.
