Ms. Zhang primarily acts as lead counsel in cross-border banking and finance, advising leading policy banks, major commercial banks, investment funds and state-owned enterprises in project and acquisition finance as well as many other forms of financing including syndicated lending, asset finance and sovereign loans. Ms. Zhang also advises onshore/offshore lending matters as PRC counsel and supports outbound M&A, foreign investment.

  • Advised China Development Bank in project financing for the construction of a hydropower plant in Peru

  • Advised E-Town Capital’s participation in a consortium to acquire Integrated Silicon Solution Inc., a NASDAQ-listed semiconductor company, through a going private transaction;

  • Advised a buyer group consisting a PRC-listed company and an investment company in bidding to acquire significant assets located in more than 40 jurisdictions of a German company;

  • Advised E-Town Capital in its acquisition of the assets of Nexteer from General Motors Corporation;

  • Advised E-Town Capital in its acquiition of bankruptcy assets of Hawker Beechcraft, a US aircraft manufacturer;

  • Advised China Africa Development Fund in the legal assessment of several prospective acquisitions of mines in Africa

  • Advised a German company in its high-speed rail technology licensing to Ministry of Railway of China;

  • Advised China Life Asset Management Company in its software license project with a US software company;

  • Advised BAIC in its technology licensing and prototype development project with BOSCH;

  • Advised a major aircraft maintenance company in Beijing jointly held by a major German Airline and a major Chinese Airline on its general corporate issues;

  • Advised a Hong Kong company in its acquisition of a cement factory in Hei Longjiang province of China;

  • Advised an entertainment company of South Korea in its potential investment and albums distribution issues in China.
