We are pleased to announce that DeHeng, with its outstanding strength in the field of compliance, won the Best Labor and Employment Law Firm award, and our Beijing Office partners Wang Jianping and Zhang Xu won the Best Employment Compliance Lawyer and Best Banking and Finance Compliance Lawyer, respectively, in the 2022 GRCD China Compliance Awards, as recently announced by Asia Pacific Media Foundation.

In recent years, as regulation over law enforcement tightens at home and abroad and the Chinese government continues to promote corporate compliance reform, Chinese enterprises have attached unprecedented importance to compliance management, and the scope of compliance management has expanded from import and export control, economic sanctions, data protection, security review and other fields related to overseas business to building across-the-board compliance systems. In particular in the past year, Chinese regulators have issued several policy documents, advanced corporate compliance reform, and worked to ensure effective regulation over law enforcement. Hence the year 2022 was widely regarded as the "Compliance Year" for Chinese enterprises and saw China ushering into the era of compliance.
