Jason Ye, General Legal Counsel of Huaxin Cement, one of the world's largest cement producers, commended Mr. Chen for playing a vital role in advising his company on the acquisition of the Tanzanian assets of a cement company based in Kenya undergoing restructuring. "He did an in-depth analysis and research of the project from an overall point of view and offered very valuable forward-looking guidance to the company. For the complex problems involved in cross-border bankruptcy acquisition, he can efficiently organize multinational lawyers to conduct in-depth analysis and propose creative solutions to effectively facilitate the project. The team led by Mr. Chen works rigorously and serves professionally," Jason Ye said to ALB.

Mr. Chen is also recognized by Chambers & Partners as a leading lawyer in Corporate/M&A, and named among "China's Elite 100 Lawyers" in the A-List by China Business Law Journal.

Mr. Chen has extensive experience in industry sectors including high-tech, energy, mining, TMT, and healthcare. He has led many major cross border acquisition transactions covering over 30 different jurisdictions across North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa. Over the last few years, Mr. Chen has a distinguished track record in acting as lead counsel for clients in the largest outbound semiconductor acquisitions and most complex cross-border mining deals.
