DeHeng Lawyers Named "Model Worker in Legal Aid"
and "National Model Worker in Public Legal Service" by Ministry of Justice

Recently, the Ministry of Justice issued the Decision on Awarding National Model Units and Workers in Legal Aid and Public Legal Services, recognizing 270 national model units and 424 model workers in legal aid, and 723 model units and 964 model workers in public legal services. Mr. Wang Jianming, Managing Partner of DeHeng's Wuxi Office, and lawyer Zhang Huawei from its Yinchuan Office won the award of "Model Worker in Legal Aid," and lawyer Huang Yong, Deputy Managing Partner of its Chengdu Office, "National Model Worker in Public Legal Service."

Managing partner and lawyer of DeHeng's Wuxi Office, member of the International Association of Lawyers, and incumbent advisor to the Legal Advisory Group of Wuxi Municipal People's Government and vice president of Wuxi Bar Association. Areas of practice: M&A, restructuring and reorganization, cross-border investment and M&A, international arbitration, and cross-border litigation. Wang once represented the All-China Environmental Protection Federation in an environmental infringement case against a company in Jiangyin, which is known as the first civil action filed by environmental NGOs in China. In October 2019, Wang and his team represented a victim' family of the bridge rollover accident on National Highway G312 for compensation settlement. They succeeded in mediating the dispute in just one day and one night, producing a good social effect. Wang is also an active donor in education. Under his leadership, the Wuxi office has donated over RMB 400,000 to students in need, and been providing long-term, targeted assistance to Maxiu Primary School in Yushu, Qinghai Province.

Deputy managing partner and lawyer of DeHeng's Chengdu Office. Areas of practice: international trade, intellectual property rights, international arbitration, etc. As a member of the Communist Party of China, Mr. Huang has been earnestly performing his social responsibilities by actively participating in public legal services and general welfare undertakings. He has actively provided pro bono legal services in the Chengdu section of China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and facilitated mediators of the BnR International Commercial Mediation Center to participate in pre-litigation mediation in the People's Court of the Sichuan Pilot Free Trade Zone, delivering positive outcomes.
A lawyer of DeHeng's Yinchuan Office. Areas of practice include labor, social security, and criminal defense. As a member of Communist Party of China, Zhang has engaged mainly in legal aid and fulfilled his social responsibilities by participating in law popularization campaigns, receiving visits, and handling legal aid cases. He has also actively assisted the judicial administrative organs at various levels in the assessment and investigation of legal aid cases, and was hired as the peer evaluation lawyer by the Ministry of Justice, the Justice Department of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Yinchuan Legal Aid Center.
